于华西临床医学院内分泌专业获临床博士学位。曾在匹兹堡大学、谢菲尔德大学学习。熟悉内分泌高血压/肾上腺疑难重症、低钾血症、糖尿病/脂代谢紊乱的诊治。在糖尿病及肾上腺疾病的基础与临床研究方面积累了一些经验。负责国家自然科学基金、科技部、四川省科技厅等课题4项。发表高水平期刊论文50篇。
现为中华医学会内分泌分会免疫内分泌学组委员，中国医疗保健国际交流促进会中老年医疗保健分会委员等；四川大学华西医院肾上腺疾病诊治中心秘书。曾任中国医师协会内分泌代谢医师分会青年委员。
