聚焦癌症照护、老年与慢病护理、姑息照护，与伦敦国王大学，新加坡国立大学及美国克利夫兰诊所等国际顶级科研团队合作，以第一/通讯作者在JAMA Netw. Open、Sci Adv、Int J Nurs Stud等发表高水平SCI论文127篇（JCR Q1 73篇，专业世界排名Top1 9篇，ESI高被引论文10篇，热点论文4篇），研究成果被主编专刊点评，并被多国指南引用。主持国家自然基金项目（3项）、国家重点研发计划子项目（2项）、四川省重大研发项目（3项）、教育部产学研项目、CMB公开竞标重点项目等纵向课题23项，经费1000余万；主编/副主编“十四五”国家研究生规划教材及学术专著等12部；授权国家发明专利、计算机软著等核心知识产权59项。

Xiaolin Hu focuses on the fields of cancer care, geriatric care, chronic disease management, and palliative care. She has an impressive track record of collaboration with esteemed international research teams, such as King’s College London, the National University of Singapore, and the Cleveland Clinic. As first author or corresponding author, she has published 127 high-quality papers in renowned domestic and international journals such as JAMA Netw. Open、Sci Adv、Nat Commu、Int J Nurs Stud, among which 73 articles are in JCR Q1 journals, with 10 articles were selected as ESI highly cited papers, four articles were selected as hot papers, and nine articles featured in the world’s top-ranked nursing journal. Her research has been influential. The research results has not only been recognized in special editorials by leading journal editors but has also played a crucial role in shaping guidelines adopted by multiple countries. In terms of research funding, Dr. Hu has led 23 vertical research projects as principal investigator, including three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, two sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, two major R&D projects of Sichuan Province, a Ministry of Education industry-academia-research project, and a CMB open competition key project, with total funding exceeding ten million yuan. She has also served as chief editor or associate editor for 12 textbooks and academic monographs (including national graduate-level planning textbooks of the “14th Five-Year Plan”) and has been granted 59 core intellectual property rights, including national invention patents and computer software copyrights.

Her contributions have been widely recognized with numerous honors and awards, such as Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing (FAAN), “ World's Top 2% Scientists”, Member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, “Leading Academic and Technical Figure of Sichuan Province”, “High-Level Overseas Returnee Scholar”, and a recipient of the “Major Talent Program of Chengdu”. As a key contributor, she has received the “Second Prize of Sichuan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award”, the “Special Prize of Graduate Teaching Achievement Award of Sichuan University”, and the “First Prize of Undergraduate Teaching Achievement Award of Sichuan University”. As the principal investigator, she has been awarded the “Huaxia Medical Science and Technology Award”, the “Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award”, the “Major Demonstration Project of Science Popularization by the Ministry of Science and Technology”, the “First Prize of Sichuan Provincial Outstanding Popular Science Works”, “ranked in the 'Top 100 Chinese Nursing Scholars by Global Scholar Library'” and the “WILEY China Excellent Author Programme”, among other honors and accolades.
